WET
New York, NY

1985. Summertime in Florida.

Twelve-year-old Jane's floating and dreamlike summer days are interrupted by the complexities of growing up when, on the eve of her baptism, Jane experiences the first sensations of her nascent sexuality. Suddenly she finds herself caught between her mother and grandmother's conflicting moralities and her own irresistible sensuality. This haunting and luminous journey into the heart of a young girl captures a tumultuous time in the life of every adolescent confronted by realities of adulthood she doesn't yet understand.
