A bored barista faces customers with mochas on their minds in a small café; an isolated musician makes a manic, futile attempt to learn a bebop classic; a sidewalk artist paints a portrait; and a young drug addict has money problems. How these characters wittingly or unwittingly participate in a small moment of transcendence (punctuated by darkish humor) is the subject of this "musical" short film.
