Pulse: a Stomp Odyssey is a celebration of diversity, culture, humanity and rhythm. Guided by the creators and performers of the internationally acclaimed show, STOMP, audiences explore all five continents of the globe to experience spectacular sights and breathtaking sounds.

From Hindu musicians parading with elaborately decorated elephants in India, to Kodo drummers pounding elephant-sized Taiko drums in Japan, to 200 Timbalada drummers celebrating Carnaval in Brazil, to Khoi San percussive dance in Botswana’s Kalahari Desert, audiences experience the unique thrill of the global heartbeat that crescendos in a pulse-raising symphony of images, cultures and sounds.

Without dialogue or narration, the film transcends language to communicate its message purely through action – the action of rhythm. Pulse astonishes with the pure joy of beat, the common language of the people of the world, and invites us to hear our shared humanity in a new way.
