When the US government makes reparations for the injustices suffered by the Japanese Americans during World War II, memories of a stolen youth resurface for a Northern Californian Nisei farmer. Inspired by the filmmaker's late Father who spent three years of his childhood at the Tule Lake internment camp and later farmed tomatoes in Davis, CA.
