Several years ago while sitting at the top of an active volcano in Guatemala, Nick Cunningham, a 30 year old Rocklin native, was inspired to help people with disabilities reach similar heights in breathtaking places around the world. What started with a vision of practically duct taping kids to his brother's backs and traversing mountains in third world countries became a reality when he helped his now good friend Austin Taylor hike to the top of Clouds Rest, an 11,000 foot summit overlooking Half Dome and the beautiful Yosemite Valley. Austin Taylor is a 21 year old man with cerebral palsy that has been bound to a wheelchair since he was four years old. His whole life people have told him what he will and won't be able to do. He courageously shows people that anything is possible and that he can reach places people thought were impossible. In doing so he hopes to inspire others to do the same and follow their own dreams. When Nick and Austin met, 'Noble Heights' began.
