MADRAS: Great Wide Spinout (Music Video)
(4:00) Burbank, CA - Student Film - Chapman University

MADRAS: Great Wide Spinout chronicles the story of a poor man lying motionless outside a storefront with a sign that reads, “Spare Some Change.” Over the course of one day the man must collect more than one pound of spare change on a scale that sits in front of him. Despite collecting enough change, a few coins slide off and the man fails. The next morning police and a crowd of people surround the dead body of the man. Kidnapped, the man on the street was actually a millionaire and his fate rested on the kindness of others. On the other side of the man’s sign reads, “Lady Justice is blind. Today we measure the mercy of men. 1 Day. 1 Man. 1 Pound.”
