Where is Sacramento?

Well, for those with a sense of geography, Sacramento is the capital of California. For those with no sense of geography, Sacramento is simply the place where the Festival is held.

What kind of films and videos do you select for screening?

The good kind.

What I meant was: for what genres do you make selections?

Yeah, I know what you meant. Let's move on.

What are the chances of my film getting into the Festival?

Pretty damn good. If you submit a film, it's in... in consideration for selection, but still forever a part of the Festival.

You frustrate me. What I wanted to know was: what are the chances my film will be selected and shown at the Festival? And I don't mean "shown to the selection panel," but actually shown at the real Festival?

You know, insulting us with condescending questions doesn't make for a very good first impression. An attitude like that will likely secure you a place in the "rejection" pile. How do you like the sound of that, Mr. Smarty Pants?

Your festival is called the Sacramento Film and Music Festival, so does that mean the films you accept have to be music-related?

If that were the case, why would we add the "and" you so appropriately emphasized before disregarding that you emphasized it?

What is the Sac Music Seen?

It's the part of the Festival where we remove the "and" from between "Film and Music."

But if you removed the "and" from between "Film and Music," wouldn't it be a festival that showcases film soundtracks and not music videos?

Shut up.

Why are the submission fees so low?

It's our way of saying, "You don't have to pay as much as expected."

Can I pay more?

We tend to discourage such behavior, but hey, it's a free country. And we mean "free" in the loosest sense of the word.

The FAQs page on your website is amusing, but it didn’t answer my question of whether my movie was appropriate for your film festival.

That's not really a question but I'm glad you asked it. The answer is yes.

Are these actually frequently asked questions?

Yes. Some of these questions have been asked frequently in our perceived reality, whereas the rest have been asked frequently inasmuch as it's conceivable that in all possible worlds they could have been asked frequently.

Do you expect us to take you seriously?

Having expectations is a tricky thing; you're bound to be let down. So instead we opt to eschew any and all expectations in favor of blind acceptance that we are indeed taken seriously.
