A reformed journalist (San Francisco Chronicle, Northern California Bohemian), Daedalus Howell moved into filmmaking following the publication of his novel, "The Late Projectionist," last year. With creative partner Jerry Rapp, Howell is writer-director of the faux "mental hygiene" series "R&H Educational Films" for Universal Picture's new media partner Hypnotic. Howell is also writer-director of "Hold Me With Your Robot Hand" for Lions Gate Film's online venture CinemaNow. An active member of Filmmakers' Alliance, Howell recently screened his film "Is It Time to Swap?" at its FA:101 screening at the Directors Guild of America as part of a tribute to director Terry Gilliam.
