Three years after the loss of her husband, Jill Ross is ready to begin dating again, leaving her 11-year-old son Charlie competing for her attention. A broken mirror could be enough to repair a damaged relationship between mother and son when Charlie, despite trouble in his own adolescent world, reaches out to help.
