Poor Nick is dumped by yet another girlfriend, his best friend Sam sets him up on a chain of dates that all end with more humiliation. As Nick adds to his list of failed romances, he begins to think all hope is lost for ever finding true love. But just as Nick's about to give up, he meets August, a quirky waitress at the local coffee shop. She's everything he never wanted in a girl.... Finally Nick has hope for a relationship that he can trust and believe in, or can he? Shot entirely on location in San Diego, this "California-style love story" is about trust, partnership, and most of all, the unpredictable course love always takes. This is the reason why so many keep looking for romance in the local coffee-house.
